I bought my first camera, an iPod, in the winter of 2014-15. My intention was to take touristy snapshots, without any elaborate efforts to set up or time my shots. Every photo is posted as it is, without cropping or electronic manipulation.
I don't do portraits, but to add interest to a shot, I do occasionally include people, or perhaps birds or other animals.
The mouse-over slideshow effect, which is done with HTML5 and CSS3 without scripting, is intended to create the illusion of movement. It's my way of getting away from the usual static photo gallery and creating a more hands-on experience for the viewer.
